Funding

Every tax deductible donation to NFAB goes far to fill the gaps in arts funding and to support students who may not otherwise be able to participate in arts programming in Northfield Public Schools. Since NFAB was founded in 2010, your donations have supported dozens of projects benefitting not just district students but the Northfield community as a whole.

2022-23 school year grants funded or partially funded:

• Sculpture clay and canvases at ALC 

• Studio Art drying rack at NHS 

• NHS Jazz Band transportation to Anoka-Ramsey Jazz Festival and to perform at local elementary schools

• Ukeleles at Bridgewater 

• Guest clinician for NMS Jazz Band workshop

• NMS Jazz Band transportation to Edina Jazz Festival 

• Northfield Middle School solo and ensemble festival accompanists and judges 

• Middle School music uniforms 

• NMS choir trip to Broadway's Beauty and the Beast at the Ordway 

• Music for NHS Fall play 

• Airport Transportation for NHS choir trip to Florida 

• NHS RaiderKor Trip to Luther College choir clinic 

• Props for NHS fall play

Additionally, The Roger Jenni Instruments for All program has paid for:

• The repair of orchestra and band instruments

• Music lesson books for students in need

• Summer music lesson scholarships

As we look to the future of the Fine Arts Boosters, we eagerly anticipate growing support for the arts and the thousands of project support opportunities that exist. We review funding requests on a regular basis and invite Northfield Public School arts organizations to fill out our NFAB Program Funding Request Form for support consideration. Before submitting a grant request, consult your building principal to see if school district funds are available to cover your request.
